P4GM - Tuesday 1st October

1st Oct 2019

A new month and many more learning opportunities!

Numeracy - Today we were consolidating our adding skills carrying from the units column into the tens. We will continue to review our adding skills on a regular basis.

Jack Hartman got us up and moving while we counted numbers in different sequences. Being active helps our brain to grasp and retain numbers and it is great fun!

Literacy- in preparation for composing our own Autumn Poems we brainstormed what autumn makes us think about. We then linked our thoughts to why certain changes take place during autumn.  We thought about darker evenings, a drop in temperature and leaves changing colour.
