The Right to Health

11th Nov 2019

Our article of the month is:

  Article 24

Every child has the right to the best possible health.

Primary schools in Northern Ireland, through a nationwide health initiative, have hosted nursing staff who have administered flu vaccinations. This should help prevent a lot of children from catching a nasty flu infection.

In P4 we have been looking at the role of the dentist and the importance of looking after our teeth. All classes throughout our school  will be promoting and discussing the many different ways we can stay healthy.

Perhaps you could discuss with your child how some children in other countries do not have access to proper health advice and facilities.
