'Sister Act' at Cambridge House and Donation to Epilepsy UK

26th Oct 2022

Our P6s and P7s travelled to Cambridge House Grammar School this morning to watch their production of 'Sister Act'.  We had a fantastic time watching the superb acting skills of the pupils at the school and listening to the great music and singing.  Well done to everyone involved; a lot of hard work has gone into the show!

We collected donations from the P6 and P7 children, and from the staff in Camphill, to support Epilepsy UK, the charity Cambridge House is supporting through donations raised at their performances.  This is a cause especially close to our hearts here in Camphill as Aimee’s sister was due to perform in 'Sister Act'.  Abbie sadly died in August and so Aimee was keen to educate us about what the charity does to support people affected by epilepsy.

In total, we raised £209.52 for Epilepsy UK, which Aimee handed over this morning to Mr Elliott, the school principal, and Mr McClarty, the Head of the Drama department. Thank you very much to everyone in our school family who supported this worthy cause so generously.
