Science Fun In P3SG!

14th Oct 2019

In P3SG we have been learning all about the 'Fire Triangle' and the three elements that fire needs to burn. We discussed the idea of what makes a fair test and also predicted what we thought was going to happen during the experiment. Then we carried out the experiment using candles and glass jars. We were all very pleased that our predictions were correct and concluded that fire needs oxygen to burn.

In Science we have also been learning about our lungs. Chloe L, tried on the tabard which showed us the location of the lungs and other main organs in the body. We learned that our left lung is smaller than our right lung and also that a person can survive with only one lung!
