Primary 7 BC Active Numeracy Activities

22nd Sep 2020

In class we have been learning about different types of numbers. This week we conducted a maths investigation involving cube numbers. The pupils were asked the question 'how do cube numbers get their name?' They had to use the link cubes to highlight the answer. When you multiply a number by itself, and then multiply itself again, you get a cube number. The pupils recorded their findings and also made a video of themselves in their groups. The focus of the lesson was linking length, breadth and height to cube numbers!
