P7RA Rights Respecting Assembly
16th May 2019
P7RA brought this year's series of Key Stage 2 class assemblies, based around the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, to an end as they examined Articles 17 and 19. The children shared the story of Anne Frank and the Holocaust and then outlined why it is so important for children (and adults) to have access to reliable media and accuracy on the internet. We finished by watching a clip from a children's news programme, which further helped to explain this. All of this year's class assemblies have been very interesting and have given us lots to think about.
