P7AS at the Translink Safety Bus

25th Apr 2024

We welcomed Kevin and Susan to school today in their Translink Safety Bus.  Kevin talked to us about safety on the bus and in the bus station, especially for those of us who will be new to travelling by bus next year when we start our new schools.

Susan then talked to us about the importance of good behaviour on the bus.

Did you know:

-A Translink bus costs £250,000 to make?

-A double decker bus costs £500,000 to make?

-It costs Translink millions of pounds every year to repair damage done on board their buses? Much of this damage is caused by children of school age.

Please remember all the safety messages from today when travelling by bus! 🚌
