P7BC complete a Multi Skills challenge!

12th Nov 2020

Please watch P7BC’s Multi Skills relay challenge.

Pupils were bringing together all their prior knowledge throughout the previous weeks. Firstly they got the opportunity to create their own warm up. The only rule within the warm up was that the pupils had to move their feet in a variety of ways!

The various movement patterns they created were superb! Can you name any of the movements in the video?!

The pupils then became the teachers! In their groups they worked on their communication, teamwork and thinking skills! They were provided with multi purpose equipment, which they had to use to create a multi skilled relay. This relay had to incorporate skills they had learned over the last 6 weeks!

This was a terrific session as the class worked incredibly well together as a team! Everyone encouraged each other and they really put a lot of thought and effort into their activities!

Mr Clarke could really see that everyone had learned a great deal from the multi skilled activities which they have been doing!

These are skills which are transferrable to a variety of sports!

At the end of the session the pupils then came together and assessed their overall learning!

Watch and listen to what they have been getting up to!
