P2 LA Eco Day!

26th Apr 2024

We have had a really busy ‘Eco day’ in P2 today!

We started off our day with an Assembly led by the Eco Committee and Eco Warriors.

Then we read some stories about Bees. We have been learning all about the White-Tailed Bee and making lots of Bee crafts for our Eco box.

Before break, we went out to plant the flowers in our box and add in all of the crafts we made. We think it looks fantastic!

After Break, we learned all about the life cycle of a bee and completed a cut and stick. Then we enjoyed learning more about Bees while watching a Blippi video.

After lunch, we went on our wildlife walk around the school and enjoyed seeing the quiet garden, reading a story in the Eco Hut and looking at our bug hotel and new outdoor classroom area.

We are looking forward to planting our sunflower seeds next week!

Have a look at our photos from a brilliant day!

Take 5 - Today we covered all aspects of this initiative- be active, keep learning, take notice, give and connect.
