Numeracy

We are about to embark on some work on recording data/information. Children will be recording information on Tree, Carroll and Venn diagrams. But, as always, we are trying to relate our learning to everyday life. Our starting point focused on two questions:

Who records information?

Why is certain information recorded?

We looked at information that a doctor, teacher , shop-keeper and a librarian may need to collate and record.

Ask your children what information they have recorded in school today!

Literacy

We carried out some more work on verbs. A rap app helped us to memorise what a verb is.

WAU

We continued our work around TEETH. Remember- teeth are not just for smiles! We looked at the function of various teeth types. Interesting!
