Jigsaw Wellness Week

14th May 2019

Next week (Monday 20th – Friday 24th May), the Jigsaw Team are running a 'Wellness Week'.

This week is aimed at encouraging children, and their families, to ‘stay chilled’ and explore what keeps us calm.

The Jigsaw Team will be delivering various ‘Mindfulness’ workshops with each class to promote the significance of our mental health, even at a younger age.

Action Mental Health will also be visiting P5 delivering their ‘Healthy Me’ programme.

Please see below some information on ‘What is Mindfulness?’, as well as a few simple ways to promote mindfulness at home!

If you try out some of these, or have your own Mindfulness tips for your family, we would love to see and hear all about it! Feel free to send your thoughts or pictures to emma.mccook@barnardos.org.uk.
