Friday 6th September

6th Sep 2019

A quick lowdown of today.

We had our first Friday test and everyone tried really hard! Books are to be signed at the weekend and corrections completed.

We carried out some more work involving working with coins. We also tried to solve a maths problem by following word clues.

As an introduction to the features of poetry, we examined a poem called In the Mirror. We considered the writer of a poem being called a poet and also how ideas are usually set out in verses. Best of all, we got to illustrate our poems by drawing a portrait of ourselves inside a mirror.

The day was finished off nicely with Golden Time.  Fantastically, we all got a sticker for great behaviour all week!
