Fantastic Footballers ⚽️

27th Apr 2023

Today our girl’s football team competed in the BPSFA Girls’ Football Tournament at the Ballymena Showgrounds. Our team competed fantastically throughout the day playing against Ballykeel (twice), Buick, Clough and Moorfields.

Each game was closely contested and required a lot of hard work, our girls managed to get through to the Shield Final and played Ballykeel a second time, having drawn with them in our first game of the day. The final went to extra-time and then penalties, and unfortunately we lost 2-0 in penalties.

The team should be very proud of themselves with the effort and determination they displayed every game. We are looking forward to football starting again next year.
