Covid-19 Home Project!

22nd Jun 2020

An activity for all....... P1-P6 pupils.... to be returned at the start of the new academic year!

As we come to the end of June 2020 we would like the pupils to complete an activity that we feel will benefit them when they return to school at the end of August/September.

We would like all pupils to create an age - appropriate version of the attached COVID -19 Newsletter that details their experiences during this period of home-learning/lockdown. This will give them the opportunity to try and articulate their understanding of what is happening - for our younger pupils; parents can record their child's thoughts on the sheet if it easier just to chat this through with your child.

We would like every child to bring this newsletter back into school with them on their first day and to be able to share some of this with their teacher and classmates.  We feel this will give us a good starting point for a conversation in school - we want to give our pupils time to talk about the long absence from school and help them process their thoughts and feelings as returning to school will be an anxious time for all.

We look forward to welcoming our pupils back into their familiar safe place - Camphill Primary School!
