CORE VALUES SUPERSTARS

At Camphill PS our core values are at the heart of everything we do. Our core values of Relationships, Respect, Safety, Kindness and Honesty are beliefs and attitudes that are important to us and influence the way in which we live, behave, work and therefore learn. Core values inform our thoughts, decisions and actions and help us to live our lives through what is important to us. They are essential to our purpose and being because they remind us, and others, who we truly are.

We are incredibly proud of all our pupils and how they can demonstrate these core values in their day to day lives. Our pupils are encouraged to consider what these core values mean to them, their lives and their education.

OUR CORE VALUES are -

▪RELATIONSHIPS
We are a school family, and we encourage effective relationships between pupils, teachers, other staff
members, parents, families and the wider community.
▪RESPECT
We use good manners, and we pay attention when someone is talking. We care about thoughts and feelings
and value the differences in others.
▪SAFETY
We follow rules, listen to grownups and are aware of our surroundings. We recognise dangers and make safe
choices.
▪ KINDNESS
We are friendly; we share, help and include others.
▪ HONESTY
We tell the truth with our words and actions. We share how we feel and are true to ourselves.

Each month, we focus on one of these values—such as Respect, Relationships, Safety, Kindness, and Honesty —and encourage every pupil to show what it means in their daily actions.

To celebrate those who truly shine, we award our Core Value Superstar pupils. These are the children who go above and beyond to live out the value of the month, whether it’s helping a friend, showing determination in their learning, or demonstrating outstanding respect for others.

Why this matters:

  • It helps create a positive, values-driven school culture.
  • It inspires pupils to be role models for their peers.
  • It reminds us that character is just as important as achievement.

Congratulations to all our Core Value Superstars—you make our school a better place every day! Keep showing us what our values look like in action.
