Our topic is "Faraway Places" and we went to Belfast Zoo to learn about the animals and their different environments. We especially loved the monkeys and the penguins. After our picnic lunch we explored the play park and then went for an educational lesson in the zoo classroom. Some of us were brave enough to touch the snake, the stick insect and the giant snail. We all wanted to feel the lovely little hedgehog.
