World Maths Day in P7

28th Mar 2022

Wednesday 23rd March was World Maths Day. In P7 we used this as an opportunity to take our learning outside.

P7 RO had fun finding different angles, looking at different shapes, trying to measure trees using different methods and also worked in groups to find out if certain mathematical statements were true or false.
P7 AS had a great time measuring, creating tallies and showing their working out in chalk on the playgroynd.

As you can see from our photos, everyone really enjoyed taking our learning outside and working with our classmates.

(It also turns out you really can find a stick that is exactly half the length of a bigger stick!!!)
