World Book Day 'Share A Story' Photos

1st Mar 2019

This year to mark World Book Day (WBD Thursday 7th March) we are encouraging the children to take a photo showing them 'Sharing a Story' with someone (another child or adult). Each photo needs at least two people in it, with one of them holding a book. To make it more interesting, try to have your photo showing the reading taking place in an unusual or unexpected place! However, please ensure that the location/activity is SAFE.

When you have taken the photo, simply print a copy and send it in to your class teacher between Monday 4th March and Friday 15th March. Alternatively, you can e-mail your photo to info@camphillps.ballymena.ni.sch.uk between the same dates. If e-mailing PLEASE put - story photo and child's name and class as the subject of the e-mail, so that your photograph can quickly be forwarded to the correct teacher.

As you may have seen on the website calendar (it was also announced to the children in Assembly) we are not dressing up as book characters on WBD this year, but hope that our photo event will generate a lot of excitement!

If you do not wish the photo to be displayed in school or on the website, you must state this on the back of the photo or as part of your e-mail.

Have fun coming up with ideas for your photo and we look forward to seeing them!
