Today was World Book Day and in the spirit of celebrating our favourite books , we in P7PT made a superb effort to dress up as a book character. We each told the class about the character we had chosen, their likes and dislikes and what they get up to in their book.
After break we went to P4GM to read to children from the class. Both classes seemed to really enjoy this experience, taking joy from reading and the excitement of a story.
We also watched ‘The Story Maker’s Show’ online, which allowed us to see authors talk about their books, we even got a demonstration from a book illustrator and had a go ourselves.
