World Book Day in P2SH!

6th Mar 2025

We have had a wonderful World Book Day!

The boys and girls all looked great and everybody came dressed up as different vocabulary.

In the morning we read the book ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ and then made our own books based on the story. We also took part in a special World Book Day PE lesson with CoreKids.

After Break we thought about our favourite fairytales. We collected this data and made a tally chart to find out which was our favourite. Snow White was our winner! We then made this into a graph.

We also thought about how we can learn from books. This links to our Rights Respecting School Work.  Article 28 - we have a right to an education.

In the afternoon we made a lovely ladybird craft. The boys and girls all worked very hard and we are looking forward to going to the book fair on Monday.
