Summer Assessments take place over these next 3 weeks - starting on Monday 27th April..... (see more details in Parentmail sent on Weds 22nd April) All P3 -P7 pupils will be taking Standardised Tests in Literacy and Numeracy and will be timetabled to sit these tests in the ICT Suite - please make sure your child is in school each day during this assessment period. These test scores will be issued on your child's End of Year report. | Milk at breaktime is now available to order - see Parentmail for details - last date/time to place an order is Friday at 12noon. | The school online uniform shop is now open until Friday 15th May for new school uniform for next academic year - Delivery is due into school wk.bg. 15th June. P4 parents your child will need to have a school PE Kit for going into P5 this is now available on the online shop.  | P1 pupils look forward to their theme day this Thursday - 'Life in a Castle' | P1 parents - please find information about a summer term trip to W5 in Parentmail on Tuesday 21st April. Please complete form sent via Parentmail on Tuesday 28th April to confirm attendance. | P3 parents - information is out on Monday 27th April via Parentmail regarding your child's class Summer trip to Streamvale Farm. | P3 parents - registration for EA music lessons is now live via the information sent Wk.bg. 20th April ....... if you would like your child to learn an instrument from the start of P4 please follow this information carefully. | P5/P6 Ski trip parents - please see online form to be completed by Friday 1st May - sent via the organiser (out via Parentmail on Tuesday 28th April) | P6 parents - See information (sent via Parentmail) from Cambridge House and Ballymena Academy regarding SEAG and a June Taster Day at Cambridge House | P7 pupils/parents - please see information out via Parentmail (on Tuesday 28th April) regarding an invitation to the North West 200 Paddock on Friday 8th May. | P7 parents of children going on the residential trip to Greenhill - a short meeting will take place next Tuesday 5th May at 5pm in the school hall.  | Good luck to all the Girls playing in the Coaching for Christ Football Tournament this Friday at Ballymena Showgrounds - a QR code to give permission should by now be completed by all girls playing.  | School Uniform consultation/feedback - last day to complete this is Weds 29th Apil.  | Have a look at our ECO Day photos in NEWS below and on class pages - thank you to everyone involved and for all the donations received. We have made a £75.00 donation each to the RSPB and to the USPCA charities.   | School is closed on Monday 4th May for the Bank Holiday.

Welcome to P2!

Hi boys and girls!

Welcome to P2! We are really looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday morning and hope you are all excited about coming back to school!

 

Don't forget you will need a breaktime snack and bottle of water with you in a named lunch box or disposable bag.

On Thursday you will also need to bring -

  • a small handy size packet of tissues 
  • a small hand santiser (optional) 
  • a named pair of black plimsoles

These items will be kept in school in a tray under your desk.

 

Please do not bring -

  • a schoolbag
  • a pencil case - we have pencils, rubbers and crayons for you in your tray
  • any toys or other items from home

 

Remember the staggered starting and finishing times for Thursday and Friday.

If your surname starts with A - H Start time - 8:45 - 8:55 Finish time - 12 - 12:10
If your surname starts with I - P Start time - 8:55 - 9:05 Finish time 12:10 - 12:20
If your surname starts with Q - Z Start time - 9:05 - 9:15 Finish time 12:20 - 12:30

 

Adults will be asked to bring the children to the cloakroom door, where the teacher will greet them. Please then leave promptly to avoid any upset. Adults will not be allowed in the cloakroom or classroom. 
You will collect your child again from the cloakroom door at home time.
