ECO DAY is coming this Friday 24th April - Pupils can come to school in non-uniform on Friday and if possible wearing something green! Please remember to bring in a clear 2L bottle as we are going to be planting sunflowers on Eco Day. Please wash this and cut the neck of the bottle off before bringing it into school. No milk cartons please! | Little Stars/Big Stars booking for MAY opens on Monday 20th April and closes on Friday 24th April - please see Parentmail for details.  | This week in school we have both the USPCA and RSPB coming into school to host workshops and talks with all year groups - we would like to give both charities a donation. On Eco Day we would appreciate a 50p/£1 donation brought in towards this presentation.  | On Friday there will be a canteen ECO Day themed lunch - see Menu under Parents area for more details. | Home at the start of this week will be an information leaflet about YOUR child's attendance in TERM 2..... this summarises and highlights how the Department of Education rates your child's attendance from Jan-Mar'26.  | School Uniform consultation/feedback - please see Parentmail sent on Thursday 23rd April.  | Summer Assessments take place over the next 3 weeks - starting on Monday 27th April..... (see more details in Parentmail sent on Weds 22nd April) All P3 -P7 pupils will be taking Standardised Tests in Literacy and Numeracy and will be timetabled to sit these tests in the ICT Suite - please make sure your child is in school each day during this assessment period. These test scores will be issued on your child's End of Year report. | Afterschools Clubs begin this week - we are delighted at how popular all clubs have been received this term. All dates are on the website calendar.  | P1 parents - please find information about a summer term trip to W5 in Parentmail on Tuesday 21st April. | P3 parents - look out for EA music lesson information coming out this week....... if you would like your child to learn an instrument from the start of P4 please read this information carefully.  | P6 parents - if your child is completing the school SEAG transfer preparation please remember the last day for payment of materials is this Friday. Welcome Back to the Summer Term

Monday 25th April sees the start of the Summer Term and this hopefully means the good weather will be here! 

In the Summer Term summer school uniform can be worn - 

  • Blue Gingham Summer Dress and school jumper and white socks for girls 
    Grey school shorts and grey socks for boys
  • P7 pupils can wear their school Leavers Hoodies instead of their school jumper

On hotter days don't forget to apply suncream to your child as they will be outside for longer periods during the school day.

Further information:- 

  • The school canteen is now back open for P3-P7 children to eat their canteen meal - this means that school dinners will no longer be served to the classrooms. (P1&P2 pupils will eat in the canteen again from the end of May) 
  • Term 3 Afterschool Clubs - dates/classes for (Monday) JuJitsu and (Monday) Football are now in the Calendar section of the website. Activity NI Clubs on a Monday/Tuesday and Friday will be added on Tuesday 26th April - bookings open for all clubs on Tuesday 26th (pm) 
  • Term 3 is a very short term so please always keep up with all dates/events by checking the website CALENDAR - all information is placed on the weekly 'Ticker Tape' running across the website and the school calendar.
