A summary of our day so far!

We spent some time this morning discussing how to approach written comprehensions in a systematic and organised manner. Some points we noted:

read the passage carefully.

look closely at each question and find the answer in the passage.

write answers in full sentences using capital letters and full stops correctly.

check your work for spelling mistakes.

We carried out some oral and written work on using question marks correctly.  Through discussion,we established a list of the main question words. Included were : who why what where when  and many more!

PE today was a unit based on different ways to travel. Ask your child to show you a tunnel and a bridge!

Numeracy was focused on writing numbers in words and figures. We had to watch our spelling very carefully.
