Today was a day we all really enjoyed! We excitedly boarded a bus to visit Ballymena library. A lovely lady called Roberta talked to us about how books are stored and recorded in a library. She was very impressed when Luke was able to explain how non-fiction books are sorted into the correct categories. Roberta read us some of Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes- hilarious! Another very nice lady took us on a tour of the second floor of the library. She explained how maps and old photographs are also stored in a library. This helps us to record local history. Cool!
