Water Water Everywhere in P5 JD

13th Jan 2022

We are so excited to continue our new WAU topic on water!
Today we were learning all about the water cycle in class!

We watched a video of how this process takes place and we created our very own experiment! We added coloured water to a bag and sealed it shut. Then we taped it to the window. As the weather changes we will watch what happens inside our bag. The water will heat with sun, then evaporate and condensate etc. We can’t wait to see what happens over the next few weeks!

This afternoon we created our very own water cycle on a paper plate. We thought about the different processes and showed each stage on our diagram. We used different materials such as cotton wool for clouds, tissue paper and felt. We are so pleased with how these turned out.
