'Walk in Wednesdays'

29th Sep 2025

This week sees the start of our monthly 'Walk in Wednesdays' and we would like to encourage pupils/families to consider walking to school if at all possible on these dates. (Dates on website calendar)

Whether it’s once a month or every day, walking to school offers a wide range of benefits for children as it is a simple and effective way for pupils to get daily exercise. Children who walk to school can often arrive more alert and ready to learn.

So - Let’s Get Walking!

(See poster attached)

We understand that walking isn’t always practical for every family, but by parking a little further away (in our 'Park and walk' church carparks) and by walking the last part of the journey is a great option.

We would love for as many pupils/families to get involved once a month and take part in our 'Walk in Wednesdays'.
