Many thanks to Alan Walker, parent of George P7, for nominating Camphill PS forward to receive a donation of 5 apple trees. We were only one of two schools in the whole of Ireland to receive this wonderful donation!
We learned today that you need a minimum of 5 apple trees to have an orchard. We are delighted to have 8 apple trees, qualifying us to classify our trees as an orchard!
Alan also chatted us through how his company can make use of waste products by turning it into electricity.
