Trip To Streamvale Farm

23rd May 2017

We went on our class trip to Streamvale Farm in Dundonald and what a fantastic time we all had! We got to feed some baby animals and also stroke new born chicks and adorable puppies! As Streamvale is a real working dairy farm we had the opportunity to visit the viewing gallery and see the equipment used in the milking parlour. In school we have been learning all about the 'Journey Of Milk' and so it was very interesting to see where the milk is stored at the farm before it is transported to the dairy.  As well, we had lots of fun playing in the straw bounce, zooming around on the go karts and of course a school trip wouldn't be the same without a visit to the farm shop!
