Today we had a visit from Rita and Rebecca who came to show us some very interesting items and help us learn even more about the Vikings.
We got to make spears, dress up as Vikings, create sparks that could start a fire, grind wheat to make flour, play Viking games, learn how to attack and defend ourselves in a sword fight and learn how to read ‘runes’ to solve a puzzle.
We had a great day and enjoyed becoming Vikings for the day.
