The Reason for the Season 🔔

18th Dec 2020

Hello everyone, happy Friday! We have come to the end of our last full week of school before we break up for Christmas 🎄. It has been a strange time for us as we journey through a very unusual run up to the festive season. However,  we have enjoyed lots of art and craft, sang together and watched some fantastic movies. Our class party 🥳 is on hold until we have a full class back together again but we will celebrate a new year and better times to come as soon as possible.  This week we have watched , and participated in, an online daily presentation of the real reason why we celebrate Christmas. We journeyed back to the stable where Jesus was born. Wise men, shepherds and angels and their roles during that very first Christmas were discussed. The message and joy of Christmas never changes - how wonderful! Have a look at some pictures connected to the birth of Jesus. Perhaps your children could tell you what aspect of the Nativity each scene depicts.....
