The last day of the REACH programme in Primary 5WS

9th Feb 2022

Today was our final session of the “Resilience and well being” programme with Katie, from REACH.

We started today’s session by thinking about strength. We talked about how one brick on its own isn’t very strong but when bricks come together in a wall their strength increases.

We followed this up by thinking about our own personal strengths. Katie gave each of us a brick to illustrate. We had to draw something that we felt was one of our personal strengths. When everyone had finished their brick we put them all together to make a beautiful wall that we are going  display in our classroom for days when people need reminding about just how special they are!

We all really enjoyed today’s session but we are feeling a bit sad because Katie won’t be visiting again after the holidays. Thank you Katie we have loved having you in our classroom and have all learned so much!!!
