NSPCC ‘Talk Pants’ fortnight in Camphill

17th May 2024

We took part in the first ever NI wide NSPCC Talk PANTS Fortnight.  Our aim was to teach our pupils important safety skills without giving explicit information or telling scary stories.  Through age-appropriate lessons pupils were encouraged to recognise their rights to their own bodies, say no to touch that is unwanted and tell someone if they feel uncomfortable.  We also enjoyed singing along with ‘Pantosaurus’ to reinforce these important messages.

PANTS stands for:

P – Privates are private

A- Always remember your body belongs to you

N- No means no

T- Talk about secrets that upset you

S- Speak up, someone can help
