We have 3 winners!!! Our Valentine's Quiz was a huge success, thank you to everyone who entered! A big congratulations to The McKendry family who received 1st prize winning a £250 Galgorm voucher. Well done to 2nd prize winners the Murphy family winning a £50 Grouse voucher and to 3rd prize winner Lola Kirk winning a £20 Corner Bakery voucher. Enjoy! | P6/P7 congratulations!! What a show! Over 700 pupils and families enjoyed a show this week that was nothing short of spectacular. Staff Development...

At Camphill, we believe that great teaching starts with great learning — not just for our pupils, but for our staff too! This week has been a fantastic example of how our staff team continues to grow, reflect, and strengthen their practice.

🧠 Learning About Brains and How Children Learn

On Thursday 5th February our P1 & P2 staff, along with Mrs Greer, SENCo, and Mrs McMaster, took part in professional learning focused on how the brain develops and how young children learn best. The session explored early cognitive development, the importance of relationships, and practical strategies to support children in the classroom. It was an inspiring opportunity to deepen our understanding and make sure our teaching approaches align with what science tells us about learning.

💙 Autism Training

On Friday 6th February, our whole staff team engaged in Autism training. This session helped us build on our understanding of how to support autistic learners in a way that respects their strengths, meets their needs, and creates a more inclusive classroom environment for everyone. The training sparked great discussion, reflection, and lots of new ideas to take back into our daily practice.
