Shared Education Introductions - Sporting Fun!

22nd May 2018

Camphill PS will begin a new, shared education partnership with Mary Queen of Peace in Glenravel from September 2018. Shared Education and working in partnership with other schools is an important part of our Personal Development & Mutual Understanding(PDMU) curriculum and a very important aim for our school. The partnership will develop our pupils personally, socially and academically. Mary Queen of Peace and Camphill will work together in different projects from next year starting with our P4 year group where they will be involved in an ICT and Science project together.

Today, we introduced our P7 pupils to each other via a Netball and Football match. Lots of fun was shared along with great sporting skills on show! Afterwards the pupils enjoyed chatting to each other about their interests and differences between schools and finished off the afternoon by enjoying some shared fun in the Playpark!

We are really looking forward to working with Mary Queen of Peace over the next few years!
