'Share A Story' WBD Fun Continues!

8th Mar 2019

World Book Day was enthusiastically celebrated throughout the school yesterday. Our classes engaged with this year's theme of 'Share a Story' in lots of ways: by setting off around the school to read to other classes; telling our own classmates about our favourite book; writing a story and then sharing it with our class; watching a 'Newsdesk' World Book Day special and voting for our favourite character; completing reading activities or just quietly reading! Please check the year group sections of the website for more information about your child's class.

However, the excitement is far from over! If your child was inspired to 'Share a Story', remember we would like as many entries as possible for our photo activity - you've got until Friday 15th March to send or e-mail one in. All you need to do is take a picture showing your child and at least one other person together with a book 'sharing a story'. If possible try to take it somewhere we wouldn't expect reading to occur. Then, print off a copy and send it to the class teacher OR e-mail it to info@camphillps.ballymena.ni.sch.uk putting the child's name and class on the subject line.

Also please remember our School Book Fair running next week from Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th March. Feel free to use your World Book Day £1 token during the fair.

Below, you can see a few of the activities that the P7s were involved in yesterday, but do check out the other class pages as well!
