RRS Assembly 🙌

21st Jan 2026

Today we held a belated World Children’s Day Assembly.  We watched a PowerPoint recapping on the principles behind UNICEF and the ethos that all children have RIGHTS and these must be an integral part of our school life. A representative from P3 upwards shared the Article they had covered in Term One. It was wonderful to see how the children 👧 were able to relate rights  to various aspects of school life. For example, the children were able to articulate how fortunate we are in Camphill to have ARTICLE 28 The right to an education… met and respected .
We discussed how natural disasters can impact upon the rights of children to have a safe home, an education and shelter. Look at the pictures below showing our marvellous delegation of children with the rights they shared. We will hold another assembly in Term Two to share and discuss the Articles covered in class and through various aspects of school life.
