Royal Navy STEM Day

25th Mar 2025

Today our P6 and P7 pupils took part in a Royal Navy STEM Day ran by CPO ‘Dodger’ Long and his team.

Each session started looking at how to build bridges and working together as a team, then moving onto programming Spheros to move and travel in different directions.

To finish, Dodger took us on a virtual tour of a submarine used in the Royal Navy. During this tour we learnt lots of interesting facts about how it moves, how much it weighs and how big it is, we also discussed what life was like onboard.

Thank you to Dodger and his team for coming to our school today, we had a great day.
