Procedures for arrival:-

  • All arrivals should take place quickly and safely.
  • All children should go directly to their classroom/cloakroom door as there will be no morning outside playtime. (There will be no adult supervision in the playground or in the school carpark).  
  • If a child needs accompanied to their cloakroom door this should be with one adult only.
  • Parents will not be allowed to enter cloakrooms or the school building at any time unless an appointment has been made – entry is only via reception. (This is to protect the ‘class bubble’.)
  • The class teacher will be there to welcome the children and ensure hand sanitising upon entry.
  • Please encourage the children to keep a social distance from others when they are arriving
  • Parents must not congregate in any area of the school grounds at any time.
  • Please remember the safety of others in the school grounds and carpark at these peak times as some children will not always be accompanied by an adult.

  • All children will be released from their cloakroom doors at the time shown above – PLEASE NOTE:- P1 – P4 pupils must be collected by one adult – a P5-P7 pupil may leave unaccompanied if the class teacher has been notified about this arrangement in writing. (Parents must remember however there will be no adult supervision in the playground or in the school carpark at departure times).
