Primary 5 enjoy Day 4 of the Shared Education Programme

26th Jan 2023

Pupils from both Primary 5 classes met up at Mary Queen of Peace on Wednesday 25th January, for their fourth Shared Education Day.

The programme for the day was Science based and included an activity with Sentinus, a science themed art activity and creating some beautiful tie-dyed t-shirts.

Miss McGurk took sessions with the Sentinus group. The children were given a range of materials and had to design and build their own boats to float on top of the water.

Miss Service challenged the children to use their prior knowledge of the water cycle to design and re-create the events on a paper plate in a bright and colourful way.

Mrs. Davis assisted the children to make their own tie-dyed t-shirts. After showing everyone the different ways in which to tie up the shirts the children were allowed to choose their own colours and get creative!

All three Primary 5 classes involved had a fantastic day.
