We have been learning about volcanoes, and other natural events on earth, this term. As part of our science work, we conducted an experiment today to show how an acid reacts with an alkali to produce a chemical reaction. Carbon dioxide was produced when we mixed our acid (vinegar) with our alkali (baking soda). We witnessed our own eruption of a mini Mount Vesuvius! 🌋
