P7AS Virtual Meet-Up with Mary Queen of Peace Primary School

17th Nov 2021

Today both of our P7 classes held our second virtual meet-up with our Shared Education partners at Mary Queen of Peace Primary School.  We had a really informative session where we shared how we have been getting on with our Scratch coding programmes so far.  We have all been learning as we’ve gone along and we discovered we’ve all had our own challenges and problems but, with a little help from our friends and teachers, we were able to find solutions to our coding problems.

We’ve been working on creating a Boat Game using coding blocks to direct our ship around a maze to safety.  We’ve had a lot of fun creating our games and are looking forward to putting our coding skills to the test when we design our own games.  We learned some important things from our friends at Mary Queen of Peace which we were very grateful for.  We hope we were able to share some tips with them too.  ðŸ˜€
