We had a great day putting together a class poem using our adjectives, verbs and adverbs. We worked in groups to produce word banks then used our word strips to come up with one line about a pupil using an adjective, verb and adverb.
We shared these lines with our partners and came up with a line we liked best. At our tables we created a verse using three lines. Miss Scott typed these on the board for us so we could create a whole class poem with six verses.
We have a lot of very creative people who co-operated brilliantly to produce a first draft of our poem. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
