Big Big Christmas win!! 'SPLIT THE POT' is down to hours ...all entries close at 12noon on Weds - we now have £965 in the pot!! The draw happens on Thursday at 1pm.... | Little Stars/Big Stars JANUARY booking is now OPEN - and will close at 10am on Friday 19th Dec. | Wednesday - Whole School Cinema Trip - all pupils come to school as normal in school uniform. Break snack will be provided by the cinema. All pupils will be back in school for lunch. | Christmas Party day is this THURSDAY - all classes will be in the hall at a Christmas Disco and hopefully Santa will make a visit to school as well. This will be a non-uniform day. P7AM World Book Day and Book Fair Visit

Today we had a wonderful Literacy based day in class to celebrate World Book Day. First off, we visited the Book Fair, where we had the chance to browse and purchase books, book bags and stationery. Each of us came to school with our potato creations which were amazing! So we spent some time discussing how we had decided on our creations and how we went about making them. Thank you for the huge effort that everyone put in!

After break we watched a Scholastic Live event with Helen Rutter, author of 'The Boy Who Made Everyone Laugh', and compiled a book review of Michael Morpurgo's 'Kensuke's Kingdom' which we finished reading in class this week.

This afternoon we spent some time colouring our own named bookmarks which we can use to keep our place in all of the wonderful books that we will be reading in the near future.
