P7AM Floating or sinking?

5th Feb 2024

On Friday afternoon, we carried out another science experiment. This time we made some boats out of tin foil. We first tested to see if they would float or sink before adding in some pennies to see how much weight they would take. Some of us had very cautious guesses of how many pennies we thought, whilst others were very optimistic! We added more tin foil to strengthen our boats and then carried out our experiment for a second time. We had great fun!

Well done to Sophie whose boat held 53 pennies!
