P7AM Enjoy a pyjama themed World Book Day!

7th Mar 2024

Today we had a jam packed day filled with book related activities! We started our day with writing a book review for Kensuke's Kingdom which we had read together as a class. Then we carried out a vote on our favourite author as part of Democracy Week. We were very excited to take part in this as over 1400 other children in the Mid and East Antrim Council area are also taking part.

After break we joined in with an interactive lesson with the author Sarah Bowie and the launch of her book 'Nina Peanut'. We loved drawing alongside her, have a look at our wonderful art in the pictures below!

We visited the book fair after lunch and ended our day by reading to the boys and girls in P4 Mrs McLaughlin's class.

What a day we had!
