Big Big Christmas win!! 'SPLIT THE POT' is down to hours ...all entries close at 12noon on Weds - we now have Β£965 in the pot!! Someone is in with a chance of winning nearly £500 along with someone else (2nd place) winning £250! The draw happens on Thursday at 1pm....  | Little Stars/Big Stars JANUARY booking is now OPEN - and will close at 10am on Friday 19th Dec. | Wednesday - Whole School Cinema Trip - all pupils come to school as normal in school uniform. Break snack will be provided by the cinema. All pupils will be back in school for lunch.  | Christmas Party day is this THURSDAY - all classes will be in the hall at a Christmas Disco and hopefully Santa will make a visit to school as well. This will be a non-uniform day. P7AM Eco Day Fun! πŸ’š

We had a wonderful day in class today for Eco Day. We started our day with an assembly led by the Eco Committee and Eco Warriors. We then went to class and learnt about pollination and which insects and animals are pollinators. 🐝

Two visitors from Mid and East Antrim Borough Council came to our assembly hall to show us how to make a plant pot from old newspaper and also a bird feeder from some string and whole grain cereal hoops. We thoroughly enjoyed this! 

Back in class we created some drawings of mining bees which we then hung around our P7 plant box outside to deter any birds from trying to eat the wildflower seeds that we planted. πŸ’

An amazing day from start to finish and what a way to end our Take 5 week! We were active, learnt something new, took notice of our wonderful surroundings in school, gave back to our school community and connected with each other in an active and fun way.
