The Jigsaw team, Janice and Lori have planned some sessions on self-esteem and body image with the P7 classes. In the first lesson this week we discussed what makes us feel good about ourselves and the different parts of the body we make use of during these activities (brain, leg muscles, thumbs etc).
Next week, we will look at how the media can affect our views on body image and what we can do to recognise and combat this, so that we stay both mentally and physically healthy.
