P7 Cullybackey College IN-O-V8 Day

18th Jan 2019

Our P7s travelled to Cullybackey College today for its annual Science and Technology Day.  Mr Donaldson welcomed us to the college and then handed over to Scientific Sue, who presented an engaging and informative demonstration of many scientific principles, all of which were based on the book, ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ by Cressida Cowell.  Everyone enjoyed Sue’s experiments and you may even see Dylan, who was chosen as a volunteer, on stage in a Viking helmet!

After a break, we walked to the gym where W5 demonstrated another series of experiments involving chemicals and the laws of gravity.

Many thanks to the staff and pupils of Cullybackey College for organising a fantastic morning which will hopefully help to engage everyone’s interest in science.
