P7BC Role Play based on Michael Morpurgo novels

11th Oct 2020

P7BC pupils have been studying Morpurgo’s writing style!

Let’s hear several of Camphill’s  budding actors and actresses participating in performing some role plays.

Ethan and Nicole can be seen helping to bring Morpurgo’s words to life. They read the words written by the author, which helped them experience first hand how Michael’s writing style can captivate the reader. The words they are speaking are from real people. The students had to tell the listeners about themselves or their situation.

Kyle and Brooke took part in a question and answer session based on the novel “Billy The Kid”. Kyle took on the role of Billy, where he had to get into character and portray Billy as a courageous and determined person. This is based on the themes found in Morpurgo novels.

Everyone should be very proud of themselves, you took part in the sessions brilliantly.
