P6AM 50th Celebrations

23rd Mar 2018

Today our class had lots of fun celebrating Camphill Primary School turning 50 years old! We completed some research for homework this week and taught the rest of the class about what school, food, music, film and fashion were like in 1967. We also looked at major events in 1967 as well as famous people. We had fun completing a maths activity based around the number 50. Our class placed a booklet of ‘A day in the life of P6AM’ into our time capsule. Our fun filled day ended with us planting some snowdrops and watching a PowerPoint presentation about how our school building has changed over the years! We have all left school today with a lovely souvenir medal to commemorate the 50th anniversary of our school.
